Folks,
It looks like one of the attendees of Railsconf is putting together a BOF
and needs to dig up a projector. Since we don't have one available as a
group, I suggested I could forward this request along and see if any of you
can help out. If so, please email Fernand and Marsee (both CC'd on this
email) and let them know.
Thanks,
Thomas

HI Thomas
Do you have anyone who can help with loaning a projector
during RailsConf. Fernand of DeRailed (UG from Colorado)
is looking for one.

Hi Marsee,
Thank you so much for looking into this !! I'll post something on
the wiki.
Also if you have a contact for the portland group that would be
good too...
Best Regards,
Fernand
I checked with someone in our conference department and they
The only other option would be to bring his own. Or if he's not
local, maybe he could put a note up on the wiki asking for a loaner
from someone in the area?
Here's the wiki

I would also check in with the local rails group to see if they have
one. Let me know if you
need help contacting them.

Hi Marsee,
Sorry to bug you as it may not be your area of expertise, but you
are my only
point of contact with O'Reilly....
I have setup a BOF presentation for the rails conf coming up. I
will need to have
projection capabilities for the talk. After a quick email, to the
AV folks ( 2goodcompany ),
I am finding out that the rental fee for the projector is $450,
for a one hour usage ??
Doh !! Very steep, for a non company sponsored presentation....
Is there a way O'Reilly can help me out, solving this dilema ?
Sorry to bother you with this issue, but it's pretty much a
deterent in trying to put together
the BOF by a non sponsored individual...
Regards,
Fernand
