Grrr. Sometimes humanity (or the lack thereof) really pisses me off.

Since we've been making use of their facilities for a long time for
our meetings, perhaps it's worth finding out if there's something we
can do as a group to help them recover from this?

Alice came to a fork in the road. "Which road do I take?" she asked.
"Where do you want to go?" responded the Cheshire cat.
"I don't know," Alice answered.
"Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."

A hot metal brand to burn onto everything, "freegeek or die"
unless that would be too extreme a position to take.

Heh. I was recently a groomsman in a wedding, and the groomsman gift
was an iron brand with my initials (wtf?). I guess if my name was
Frank Green we'd be on to something. :-)

... that is quite possibly the coolest groomsman gift ever. I can't
remember what I gave mine, but I know it wasn't nearly as cool as that.

I gave my groomsman a glass mug (full of beer, of course).

I have to agree, way above par.

Yeah, while one could always donate individually on their website ...
it would be nice to do something as a group.

If anyone is in contact with free geek or knows how to best help ...
please let the list know.
