Since employment seems to be the topic of the day...

Is anyone in the group familiar with a company called ATSI Group
that's here in Portland? One of their recruiters emailed me out of the
blue yesterday, and I'm just wandering if they're worth talking to.

Seems the job market for Ruby developers is really heating up. Over
the last few weeks, I've started getting a couple emails a week about
Ruby jobs (including one from ATSI just yesterday ;~).

I sure hope that means salaries for Ruby developers are going to go up
a bit. It's too damn hard to make the jump from Java to Ruby when it
means a 25-50% cut in pay...

If anybody is in the market to move to SF, I know of a few 80-120k/
year jobs... and you'd be working with Rails.

Email me and I'll put you in contact.

ATSI placed people in most of the contract jobs at my last employer.
They seem to be good to work with.
